Script Fonts

Cursive Fonts on MakersType

Cursive fonts are also called script fonts, or sometimes referred to handwriting fonts (but MakersType makes a distinction between these two). They’re the perfect way to demonstrate a personal touch on your design, whether it’s on a wedding invitation, greeting card, or logo. The letters in script fonts connect to each other in a fluid way, like handwriting. This gives the appearance of being handwritten and gives these fonts a more casual look.

Although script fonts appear very similar, there is actually a lot of variety within this category. They can come in many different flavors, such as calligraphic, modern, classic, and hand-drawn. There are also many different types of swashes as well as other glyph variations that add to their unique personality.
